Meet Corrie's Mikey North this weekend in Grimsby

Mikey North, who plays Gary Windass in Coronation Street, will be in Grimsby this weekend to open a new Poundland shop.  

On Saturday 21 April, Mikey North will be in the new Poundland store from 10am and you can meet Mikey there.  The new Poundland store can be found on Victoria Street in Grimsby - a fitting name for the street as Corrie's own Victoria Street will be shown on screen from this Friday night.

Meet Jack P Shepherd tomorrow in Telford

Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, will be opening a new branch of Poundland in Telford on Saturday 9 April.

The new shop is on New Street, inside the Telford Shopping Centre.

Jack will welcome  shoppers when the doors open on Saturday and be available for photographs with  fans. The first 100 customers through the doors will also receive a £5 voucher to spend.

The opening of the new Poundland Telford, follows the acquisition of the 99p Stores in 2015.

Meet Corrie's Mikey North on Saturday in Hull

Mikey North, who plays the fab Gary Windass on Coronation Street, will be in Hull on Saturday, 26 October. 

Mikey will be opening Hull city's new Poundland store in Ferensway.

He will meet visitors on Saturday and sign autographs. From 10am he will be giving out £1 vouchers, which shoppers can exchange for anything from multi-bags of Walkers Crisps to greeting cards.

They can also take part in Poundland Lucky Numbers when £100 of store vouchers will be up for grabs, as well as enjoying music from the in-store DJ.

Meet Jack P Shepherd on Saturday in Ballyclare

Jack P Shepherd, who plays Coronation Street's David Platt, will be opening the new Poundland store in Ballyclare on Saturday October 6.

To mark the official unveiling of the store, Poundland will be holding a family fun day on Saturday when Jack will get the party started by signing autographs and having his picture taken with local Corrie fans.

From 10am Jack will be giving out £1 vouchers, which shoppers can exchange for anything from multi-bags of Walkers Crisps to greeting cards.

Poundland’s Trading Director, David Coxon, said: “Poundland offers exceptional value on top branded products to over 4.5 million customers every week. The £1 price hasn’t changed since we opened our first store 22 years ago. Our current customers love us and we are sure the Ballyclare shoppers will too.”

Meet Catherine Tyldesley on Saturday in Grimsby

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Coronation Street's Eva Price, will be in Grimsby on Saturday 1st September to open a new Poundland store.

Catherine will be making a personal appearance at a family fun day to be held on Saturday to celebrate the store's grand opening.

From 11am on Saturday, Catherine will be signing autographs, posing for pictures and handing out £1 vouchers to spend in store.
