How has she been feeling about her decision to get back in touch with Marco?
She has been enjoying it. She had never intended to reach out to him; it was Glenda that started the whole ball rolling after Kirk found the love letter in Beth’s memory box. It was Glenda that sent the friend request on Beth’s account, I genuinely don't believe Beth would have done that but once she had and he suggested meeting up she did get a bit giddy about it all. She used the excuse of him still having her record but it is a classic case of curiosity that killed the cat, she should have left well alone. Once she had met up with him it sparked the flame a little and rekindled feelings she had before but she had no plans to take it any further.
When did she first realise he maybe wanted a bit more than friendship?
It was when he asked her to meet up to discuss planning a reunion party and it was clear very quickly that he wanted to talk about anything but the reunion. There is no doubt that has been flirting with him and she has enjoyed it.
Is she being naive or does she know how dangerous it is but is having too much fun to stop?
I played it that she was being naive and she did quickly head back to the pub to see Kirk after that second meeting at the hotel started to get a bit heavy. She had told Glenda that she wasn't sure about going but she is torn because he does make her feel good. She is really flattered, she is enjoying the attention and hasn’t really thought about the consequences. She thinks she can handle it and thinks she has got the situation under control and is telling herself there is no harm in it. She has had a bit of a bad time recently with the whole Hope situation and this has given her a bit of a lift and put a spring in her step.
Is she enjoying relieving her youth?
Yes definitely, she was quite young when she had Craig and she is at that stage of her life when you do start to look back a little. Life can get a bit monotonous with the day to day stresses and it is nice to remember what you used to be like. That is what happens with Marco, she feels young again. It is a bit of excitement.
Why has she kept it all a secret from Kirk?
She has blatantly lied to Kirk, that is the bigger issue here. There is nothing going on with Marco but it all happened so fast and now she doesn't want to hurt Kirk by admitting she has been seeing her ex boyfriend and lying to him about where she has been. That is the biggest mistake she has made. She could have told him about Marco getting in touch and introduced them to each other, but she chose to keep it a secret and lie about where she has been so of course that is going to cause her even more problems. Hindsight is a great thing but of no use whatsoever.
What happens when she meets up with Marco for a milkshake?
The mistake she makes is going to meet him again as she is in no doubt really that he has feelings for her. But I just think she is still flattered and finding it exciting. He clearly thinks she feels the same way as he goes to kiss her. She is really flustered and tells him straight away that she is married to Kirk and this isn't something that she wants - but she is unaware that she has been seen by someone. I feel quite sorry for her really as she has finally realised she has made a mistake and has told Marco that she doesn’t feel the same way but is it too late because she has been seen and it is only a matter of time before Kirk finds out?
And then she has the awkward meeting with Faye in the hotel, what happens there?
Well what Beth doesn’t know is that whilst she is meeting up with her ex secretly behind Kirk's back Faye is doing the same thing with Jackson behind Craig’s back. Faye has told Craig she is meeting with a girlfriend and Beth has told Kirk she is meeting her pals. Beth walks in with Marco and immediately sees Faye with Jackson. Beth and Faye are so shocked and each of them start trying to explain the situation.
How does Beth feel at this point?
It is hard for Beth because she is worrying about her own situation but she is also worried about Craig. She is desperate to keep her meeting with Marco a secret but can only do that if she keeps Faye’s secret too so it is a real dilemma. Both Beth and Faye beg each other to keep the secret. She would do anything for Craig, but she is also quite selfish when it comes down to it. And of course she doesn't know that was spotted at the precinct anyway so back home the truth might well be coming out.
Kirk and Beth have had their ups and downs. Do you think they can recover from this betrayal?
Kirk means everything to Beth and she will want to put her all into fighting for their relationship. I think they can get through this but it might take some time for Kirk to trust her again, but he will be really hurt and she knows she has done wrong.

Although I don't condone affairs,I sympathise to a certain degree why Beth would meet up with Marco.
Kirk also betrayed her when he took Fiz's side instead of his wife's in the latest Hope saga,when Hope lied about Peanut biting her and was almost put down.
Fiz even had the gall recently to reminise about Kirk's marriage proposal to her in front of Beth who was hurt and Kirk didn't tell Fiz how he was dumped for John Stape!
