New Pic Revealed of Christmas Coronation Street Book

We can now reveal the cover of the new Coronation Street book coming out in time for Christmas.

Written by Maggie Sullivan, it's a fiction book called Christmas on Coronation Street

You can read all about the book here.

This new Corrie war time book reminds me of Daran Little's books: "Coronation Street": The War Years and "Coronation Street" at War and "Coronation Street": Keeping the Home Fires Burning
Publisher Harper Collins is also releasing another Coronation Street book by Maggie Sullivan in February 2018 called Mother's Day on Coronation Street.  A third book will also be released in 2018 too.

Deirdre Barlow book: "A must-have stocking filler for fans"

There's a lovely quote in today's Express about the Deirdre Barlow tribute book. In an interview about how the show is missing the everyday ordinariness of Deirdre Barlow, the journalist says that the tribute book is "a must-have stocking filler for fans" (although you may need strong and rather large stockings).

You can read the interview here.

Deirdre: A Life on Coronation Street is now available in all good book shops and online.

Official Coronation Street Deirdre Barlow book

An official Coronation Street tie-in celebration book of Deirdre Barlow's time on the show has been announced.

It's called Deirdre: A Life on Coronation Street

The book is an affectionate tribute to one of Corrie fans' all-time favourite characters. Deirdre was on our screens for over 40 years and in that time she became a British institution.

The book is packed full of storylines, reminiscences and fascinating trivia. It explores Deidre’s pinnacle moments on The Street. From her first appearance in Weatherfield as a slip of a lass with a shoulder-length bob and with just three lines to say to becoming the most loved and talked about character in the history of the show. It has a wealth of never-before-seen photographs too.

The book has been written by Glenda Young. That's me!
