Barry returns to Coronation Street next week

Barry? 'Barry, who?' I bet you're saying. Or maybe not.  But if I'd put 'Daddy Connor' returns to Coronation Street then there'd be no fun in reading on.  Okay then. Daddy Connor returns to Coronation Street.

Barrington "Barry" Connor is back for his daughter Michelle's wedding to Steve next week. 

Whether Mammy Connor will return with the Irish silver fox remains to be seen.

The last time Daddy was on the show was after Barry and Helen had fallen out and he turned up in the Rovers making a pass at Liz.

Michelle Connor gets a new Corrie mum

Frank Grimes is the actor who plays Barry Connor, Michelle Connor's dad on Coronation Street, and he's returning to Corrie soon.

Frank's personal website says that he's returning to filming at Corrie this week - and that he's going to have a different on-screen wife. So, does this mean that mammy Connor has been replaced in Frank's affections by another lady or that she's simply being played by a different actress? And why's Barry coming back? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
