JODIE ADDS ANOTHER TRINKET TO HER COLLECTION From a distance, someone watches Jodie, clutching a locket identical to hers. Toyah berates Jodie for failing to clear up David the dog’s poo and gives her a lecture. As Toyah heads off, Jodie casts her an evil look but she’s suddenly distracted by someone calling her name. When Olivia appears, Jodie masks her unease. Olivia quizzes Jodie as to why she left and reminds her that she used to say how much she enjoyed looking after her and her brother. As Jodie struggles to find an answer, how will she get out of this? Later, checking the coast is clear, Jodie retrieves a box from the cupboard which reveals a new secret she’s been keeping…
BERNIE WARNS ROY TO CHOOSE HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY Bernie summons Mal and showing him the defaced wedding photo, accuses him of breaking in. Mal denies it but Bernie orders him to clear off back to Inverness or she’ll report him to the police. When Tracy reveals that Ken is looking for a good electrician, Roy immediately sings Mal’s praises, but when Bernie leaps in and warns her to steer well clear, leaving Roy baffled.
STEVE CAN’T FACE THE PAST Cassie urges Steve to visit his Dad, but Tracy disagrees and reminds Steve of all the grief Jim caused him. When Steve discovers he’s got a flat battery, Ben offers to drive him to the hospital. Ben pulls up in the hospital car park but Steve remains in the car and admits that whilst he knows it’s his last chance to see his Dad, he also knows he could be making a big mistake. Will Steve go through with it?
ELSEWHERE Ollie invites Lauren for dinner at the bistro. Lauren’s thrilled whilst Maggie’s disapproving and in a thinly veiled threat, reminds her that she wouldn’t have a job if it weren’t for her. Will Lauren go ahead with her date?
