ASHA FEARS THE WORST A downbeat Asha struggles with her day knowing her brother is about to leave for a new life thousands of miles away. Having said her goodbyes she heads out on her shift with Sienna but things take a sinister turn when she is called to a car accident and as she arrives she recognises the car as Aadi’s what has happened? In the bistro a devastated Asha loses her temper and screams at Brody for arguing with another customer, Sienna does her best to calm her down but tells her that her behaviour is unacceptable and that if she does it again she will have to report her. Having tried but failed to open up to Dev about how she is feeling, a drunken Asha is eventually rescued by  a sympathetic Lisa in The Rovers. Asha finally unburdens herself and tells Lisa about the woman she tried to help who verbally abused her and then assaulted her. Lisa urges her to report the incident to her manager.

THEO’S ENEMIES MOVE TO THE STREET Theo is shocked to bump into Noah on the street sporting a black eye. Later Todd and Billy are appalled to see Noah and Miles handing out leaflets on the street. Billy tries to reason with Miles. Can he get through him?

Tyrone admits to Carl that with Kevin away, he could do with his help at the garage. As Carl passes Victoria Garden, he watches two lads threatening Brody and demanding payment for stealing a car. Carl sends them packing whilst Brody’s left shaken. CHRISTINA THE BLACK WIDOW RETURNS Jenny is concerned that George is being too trusting with the ladies he meets online. Glenda tries to reassure her but they are both shocked when Christina arrives at the pub looking for George. Christina reveals that Dom has died and her meeting with George is purely of a professional nature but Jenny moans to Glenda and Brian, convinced that Christina has set her sights on George and is up to no good.

Wondering if going to Germany is going to be Sally Carmen's exit. She is going to be leaving and not because she wanted to apparently.
I am having a difficult time with all of the cast members leaving. I watched Corrie because of these characters and now I gotta meet and learn to like people that I don't know..
Naw...it's not on.
It's not Corrie anymore, it's some weird experiment with evolution and I don't like it
Some may say...don't watch it, don't complain.
I can and I will...I miss a normal episode of Corrie where the guys are in the cab office having a natter, where the bar at the Rovers is filled with people chatting to each other and nary a stranger/extra in sight (well not as many)
So yeah, I don't have to watch it...It's okay though, I've got sixty years to rewatch at least! Cheers !

Sally Carman's leaving? I haven't heard that and it's not been announced in the media anywhere.
Is it me or is the lad who plays Miles ( who attacked billy) a different actor to the guy who played him before? There's so many switches with actors and roles, it's hard to keep up!

I feel sure that Abi will leave with Carl for a new life in Germany. She has been reported as saying her storyline was too rushed and she wasn't happy. Tracy spotted them but didn't take a photo so they could have denied it. Actually, why would her exit be officially announced in the media at this point? It would give away the plot and showrunners like to keep viewers guessing. You can only be sure a character is staying if the actor has had their contract renewed. I don't think Sally Carman has.

Last night (in Canada) I turned off Corrie and erased it after the first few minutes. I couldn't stomach more unbelievable scenes between Abi and Carl. No wonder Sally Carman is leaving. I'm sure she told the powers that be that her scripts just weren't on.

I've done research and she is leaving.
From what I've read, she isn't happy about the way the soap is progressing and has been outspoken about it.
It's shame, as she's one of the best actresses and she apparently begged for an audition! Her IRL hubby (Tim) remains in the show.
Some of the cast exits have been announced in the media and some haven't, due to wanting to keep the exit a surprise.
I really don't feel that Abi would have an affair at all.
She'd just tell Carl to jog on! It is a leading up to a plot exit, just as tina would not have had an affair with Peter Barlow

Oh yes, gorgeous Tina wouldn't have given Peter Barlow a second glance. And wasn't he about 3 times her age?
So many unbelievable affairs. George is lovely but Jenny's sudden interest is out of character. She will be right about Christina of course but her suspicions are so over the top that nobody will believe her.
And Todd: please dump Theo!

I feel bad for Sally Carman now. It's been a terrible storyline and not true to the character's DNA. Full of sound and fury and amounting to nothing.
