SHONA AND JODIE FACE UP TO THEIR FATHER Shona, convinced Jodie is hiding something, follows her to a psychiatric hospital where Jodie tearfully introduces their confused, estranged father. Jodie explains how she was left to care for him after their mother fled. Shona is touched and assures Jodie she's part of the family now.
WILL BERNIE TELL ALL? As Mal passes through the café on his way up to the flat, Ryan recognises him, Bernie explains that Mal’s an electrician, he’s doing some work for Roy and she’d be grateful if he didn’t mention the incident at the hotel to anyone else. When Bernie reveals that the guy doing Roy’s electrics is the same guy she spent the night with at the hotel, Gemma’s horrified and advises her to come clean to Dev before he hears it from someone else.
