Finally, a Coronation Street online game

ITV Studios have announced that an online Corrie game will go live this year. However, although it's free to play at first, you will have to pay if you want certain extras right away, though these will eventually be available once you save up enough 'points'.

The game will launch on Facebook and itv.com on November 1st.

Basically it sounds kind of like a 'what if you were the producer?' game. It sounds really fun and I'm quite excited about it! Finally, you will also be able to play some famous old scenes from Corrie's vast history.

Corrie weekly updates now on Facebook

The Coronation Street Weekly Updates now have their own group on Facebook, it's right here and you can add the weekly updates web widget to your own Facebook page.

The Corrie weekly updates have been written for th'internet since 1995 and the original membership list was up to 4,500 before the server crashed a few years ago and I had to move the list to the more stable home of YahooGroups and start all over again.
