Nick is getting on my wick now, surely he should still be receiving some help following his brain injury?

And I've never understood why on earth a girl like Alya would give Gary a second glance.

PS Not looking forward to Dennis leaving - can't they get rid of Norris instead? Pretty please!!!!

About Faye: It's obvious this is leading to the story-line where she's going to be pregnant. What could have happened is that she slept with a guy, one time, and someone (possibly the same guy) secretly took a picture and/or video that is rapidly being spread around.

At least on this side of the world (Canada) things like this have happened fairly often and with horrible results. They may be going for a double whammy of teen pregnancy and child pornography with this plot (but I seriously hope not, especially since it's the Windasses who are already overused to death).

I'm actually looking foreward to Dennis leaving as he's been a disappointment. All he does now is mope after Rita or manipulate her to feel sorry for him.He has some nerve betraying and humilatiing her and act like the victim when he's dumped by Gloroa

Ugh....no more crazy Nick. I am fed up to the gills with his over the top out bursts. I was never a big fan of his to begin with. Now....he's falling in close formation right behind Maddeahhh as a least favourite character.
The fact that the writers have NEVER written in proper therapy for his brain injury is a crime. I say shame on them for not handling this correctly.
And why hasn't Audrey stepped in and given him a proper talking to? NO ONE is stepping up to the plate.
It's like someone let the Frankenstein monster loose.

My, what a cantankerous week. Must be the heat.

As I said in a post the other day (that got pulled because it was responding to a preview video that was taken down) I now consider(and treat accordingly) Corrie to be a modern day fairy tale. There's not a realistic storyline in any of the homes on that street, or its environs. Everything has become far-fetched and exaggerated. Corrie's original success and its longevity have been attributed to the realistic portrayal of working class people in northern England. Not any more! Not only is it sensationalized, but worse, it's unlikely. I pity the poor actors, trying their best to make the unbelievable believable! The sad thing is, when given the opportunity and circumstances, the writers can rise to the challenge and write well. They proved it with the death of Hayley, and the show was justly showered with accolades The viewers and critics told them in clear terms "This is the kind of writing we want. More, please!" Sadly, tptb weren't listening or didn't care. They're driving us away. When the show finally ends "Not with a bang, but a whimper", we'll know who to blame.
