We've already raised the idea that Liz and Tony might not have much mileage left in them if Tony does what we think he might do with Tracy.
So is it time for Liz and Lloyd to get back together?

I was never a fan of the pairing of the two of them. She seemed a bit too old for him or something. Maybe it's just because he and Steve are best mates and it seems creepy to me that LLoyd would be with his mother. They could never talk about women etc.. with each other if he's dating Liz.
I don't mind her with Tony. I like him, even if he is a bit dodgy.
It's a bit confusing because while the fairy tale advert looks decidedly like Tony and Tracy become an item, Terence Maynard says it will be strictly a business relationship. Who knows, bluff or what? When Liz comforted Lloyd by grabbing him to her bosom, that was mainly so she could signal to Michelle over his head to get rid of Andrea. Not a bad bit of sitcom that, but Liz has been a good friend to him. That's all it is, I'm sure, particularly as Craig Charles is off soon. I don't want a re-run of their last attempt, in any case, so a Nay from me.
If and when CC comes back, they must stop giving him romantic storylines. The actor/character is not cut out for believable love affairs. Find him a suitable partner, who won't stray; Julie's a possibility, even Mary with a little bit of script tweaking. CC is a great actor and he's sadly misused in Corrie. Lots of potential storylines out there that don't involve cheating and bed-hopping, not that you'd guess from watching Corrie.
Absolutely not! There was no real spark there and Liz just dragged Lloyd down. I would rather see Lloyd and Steve working as a comedy tag team in the cab office or pub, without serious relationships for either of them. Imagine those two trying online dating or speed dating!

Don't like Steve's best mate being his step daddy. He needs to be with Eileen!!!!
I'd like Lloyd to jump in a taxi and leave the street forever. His character has become stale and boring.

No. It's nice that the show highlighted that Liz still has a genuine fondness for Lloyd but she was never a good girlfriend. She oscillated between being jealous and clingy and then pushing him away. He needs someone who genuinely loves him and will treat him well for once.
NAY - why does Lloyd always have to be paired up with a woman? He and Steve are fine together. Anyway isnt Craig Charles being written out for a bit to pursue his Red Dwarf series? Obviously where all this ho haa with Andrea is leading.

Nope. They seemed like an odd pairing from the start. And especially with news that Big Jim is coming back to the street, so he is, I'd love to see him and Liz strike up again!

While i did like Liz and Lloyd together at the time, I don't think a rerun would work now. Someone asked why does Lloyd have to be with anyone? Well, that could be said about any character. They never seem to be able to leave most of them single for any amount of time

I still think Lloyd and Andrea will get back together. Out of all his girlfriends she's the only one who's ever really chased him instead of the other way round. I think sooner or later he'll cave in and take her back.
A big NAY from me. Liz and Jim belong together - so it is. Almost incest Lloyd being with Steve's mother....big ick factor there! Julie sounds like an interesting option for Lloyd. Too bad Jenna was cast as his daughter - I think she would have worked better as a love interest.
