Celebrity Big Brother burst back onto our screens last night, and Corrie fans didn’t have long to wait before we got a taste of the camp frivolity in store for us!
Julie Goodyear was the first celebrity to parade along the catwalk, to cheers from the audience, and wearing something uncannily like Joseph’s Technicolor Dreamcoat.
No sooner than she was thrust into the madness of the BB house, she was joined by former Eastender Cheryl Fergison, and within minutes was given the first secret mission of the series – to create a real-life soap opera in the house!
Hilarity most definitely ensued. Fitted with secret earpieces, Julie and Cheryl were given instructions from Big Brother to carry out. Julie had to compare Page 3 model Rhian Sugden to Racquel Watts (!) and warn her away from men, and then stage a fight with Cheryl resulting in throwing a drink over her! One of the most amusing launch nights to a Celeb BB I’ve seen in a while, and safe to say Julie looks to be a big character in the house already.
Tune in to Channel 5 tonight at 10pm to see if Julie and Cheryl were successful in completing their secret mission.
