Coronation Street wins Best Soap at Broadcast Awards 2019

Coronation Street has won the award this week for Best Soap / Continuing Drama at the 2019 Broadcast Awards.

The awards were held on Wednesday 6 February at  Grosvenor House in that London.

Coronation Street won the award for Best Soap / Continuing Drama at the Broadcast Awards, held last night in London.

The Broadcast Awards are determined by a panel of judges to reward excellence in television each year. It is the third consecutive year that Corrie has won this category.

The awards ceremony was held at The Grosvenor Hotel in London.

Well done, the Corrie!

Coronation Street wins Best Soap at Broadcast Awards 2013

Hot on the heels of winning Best Soap last week at the National Television Awards, Coronation Street has scooped another award for Best Soap.  They were named as Best Soap, beating all of the other UK soaps, in the Broadcast Awards 2013 held last night at the Grosvenor Hotel in that London.

The Broadcast Awards are chosen by a panel of judges to reward excellence in TV.

Coronation Street has won the award for best Soap / Continuing Drama at the Broadcast Awards 2012.

The awards ceremony was held last night, Thursday 2 February at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.  A full list of winners can be found here.

This award comes hot on the heels of Corrie's win at the National Television Awards where they scooped Best Soap award too. Let's hope this is Corrie's year for the awards ceremony, it's about time!  Bring on the Soap Awards!
