Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, will be officially opening the new Co-operative travel store in Station Street, Burton in January next year.
Alan will be visiting the Midcounties Co-operative Travel on Saturday, January 5 and will be there from 10.30am to 12.30pm to sign autographs, pose for pictures and chat with customers.
Alan said: "I'm looking forward to visiting Burton in the New Year to mark the official opening and meet local residents.As well as great deals on holidays across the world, Co-operative Travel is also committed to supporting the local community around its branches and I'm always happy to lend my support."
Midcountries Co-operative Travel in Burton, branch manager Nicki Wilkes said: "Alan is a long-time supporter of Co-operative values and it's great that he'll be joining us in our celebrations. We hope lots of people come along to say hello."
