School pupils challenge Chesney at crazy golf
I love this little story as it combines two of my favourite things - Coronation Street and crazy golf. I like crazy golf so much, I even, er, blog about it.
Sam Aston, who plays Chesney Battersby-Brown on Cornation Street, helped unveil a new crazy golf course at his old school.
The Rossendale Free Press reports that Sam was present for the grand opening of the attraction at Thorn Primary School in Bacup and pupils were invited to ‘Challenge Chesney’.
Designed by the youngsters, the golf course has proven a great success and there are plans to make it available outside of school time as well.
What a great idea. I wonder if there is a Coronation Street themed crazy golf course anywhere in the world? If there isn't, it might just be the thing I set up when I win the lottery!
