There's a lovely little piece about Charlie Condou, who plays Marcus Dent in Coronation Street, in today's Metro.
Charlie talks about his family, his parents and grandparents and his children and how he started in the acting profession.
He says: "I don’t have time to worry about what people think about my family
as I’m too busy trying to bring up healthy, responsible human beings.
Coronation Street has given me a profile and an opportunity for people
to see that parenting is parenting, regardless of your sexuality.
Charlie is hosting a ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on September 27 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
