Watching last night's Corrie, I was over the moon when Eileen revealed she had got her job back at Streetcars. In fact, over the last few weeks, I've noticed Eileen returning to the character we all fell in love with years ago. It finally looks like she can settle down properly with Paul.
I'm looking forward to seeing Eileen back on the switch at Streetcars, and with Lloyd soon returning to the cobbles, we will hopefully see the three of them talking about rubbish in the cab office, like they should have been doing for the past few years!

She's been saved!
I would have preferred her to sell up and move away. Not a fan of hers at all.
Yaaay, I love Eileen on the Street and she's at her best when she's letting Steve know how thick he's being...lol.
Settle down properly with Paul? Have you taken leave of your senses? You think its OK for them to live in the house that Lesley died? Paul is a dreadful dreadful character and misery faced Eileen is now way past her sell by. Let them move away together never to be seen again.
I'm so happy Eileen is back at StreetCars - I love her banter with Steve, their back and forths, and her occasional slaps round his head.
And I love Paul. He's an incredibly sympathetic character; genuinely nice and caring.
Great post, Chewy. I'm dead happy she's back at Streetcars as well and looking forward to the banter in the streetcars office with her and Steve and Lloyd.
I might yet learn to love Eileen again. I was surprised her good friend, Steve, didn't give her a hard time about Paul and Lesley (someone had to).
As for Paul, well, he certainly divides public opinion! I don't think I'm ever going to take to him. It would have been so much better if they had agreed to live apart for a few months before he moved in. But that's soapland for you.
I dont mind Eileen but I agree that she is at her best ate streetcars, however Paul is a character that I cannot stand. Everything about him annoys me especially his smug little face. His time on corrie should be over.
Ella
I'm also glad Eileen will be back where she belongs. It felt like they had all but forgotten her friendship with Steve once she'd left.
Eileen Steve and Lloyd together again..Yay.
I suppose I can put up with Paul's character now that the writer's have gotten over their idiotic eff up of Eileen.
Eileen, Paul and Sean at breakfast was very cute...a real 'Father Knows Best' moment...lol.
I am very happy to see Kristie stood up to Carla and was willing to stick her neck out for others--she can't be all that bad! Also glad to see Eileen back at the cab office. Hopefully, her life will settle down for a change. Love Paul!
Why shouldn't they live in the house where Lesley died!! People die in houses all the time and you just have to get on with it.
Some might look on the whole Lesley, Paul, Eileen thing as disgusting, and while Eileen wasn't thrilled with it, she did it because she loved Paul. If she can stay in her own home despite having someone kark on the kitchen floor, then who are we to say she should move.
I personally am looking forward to Eileen being back at Streetcars, along with the banter between her, Steve and Lloyd, and if having Paul on the scene makes her happy, then good for her. Life's too short to worry about narrow minded people's opinion!!
