There's an update in today's Sun about actress Sue Johnston who should have made her Coronation Street debut as St Ella's mother earlier this month but the
scenes were scrapped after she became ill.
Fortunately, the paper reports that Sue is now on the mend
and hopes to start filming again next month.
A source tells The Sun: “It’s taken a bit of time to write Sue back in because the
writers needed to find the perfect scenario to introduce her character. The
new scenario is even better than the first one. From the few days Sue was in before she fell ill, everyone was impressed at
how wonderfully she fitted in.”
