I enjoyed watching Anna and Owen and I think they will obviously get together however, I think it was a disgrace to axe Steve Huison who played her husband, and this is one of the reasons why I think Phil Collinson should go before he axes any more of our cast. I think once Gary gets over his PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), Eddie Windass should return, but does not get involved with Anna and Owen's relationship. However, after a few episodes, he could start getting a little jealous, and have it in for Eddie.
It was good to see Audrey standing up for Marc, but that story seems barmy to me. I once knew someone who is married, and he dresses up as a woman but only in his house. I always found this a little strange, but I know it really happens. I was pleased to keep well away from him before he got me dressing up too (I don't think so!), but come on ... why use Audrey for this bloke out of all the women in Corrie? Infact, I don't really see what this storyline does for Corrie scripts!
With that lovely smile, I am just wondering if Marc has ever done a toothpaste advert? No, maybe I'm thinking of someone else oh, wait a minute, maybe I am getting my wires crossed and thinking of Esther Rantzen...did she do one? . . . NO? then maybe it was Ken Dodd or sombody else ... just a thought for some reason!
Nice to see more of Diedre I have to say.
My other half walked in as Marc was giving his speech and said, 'Is that a documentary?' I've no problem with this story line but why do they make Marc look like one of the Monty Python team. His wig always looks cockeyed - Audrey should give him a make-over. It was nice to hear her stick up for him. I rather expected the men at the bar to think Audrey was an Adrian, but I realise that would have trivialised it.
I enjoyed seeing Deidre with a face mask. I enjoyed it too when Tracy made a remark about it to Deidre.
I don't mind watching Tracy act, but I wish the writers would give her a better part that is much more interesting. What about her having a barney more often with different people who get in her way? I enjoyed seeing Deidre wearing a face mask...does she have to take it off?
Yeah, that wig has got to go. Maybe Audrey should use her stylist magic. Most crossdressers I've met (yes, I have) wear styles that flatter them. Mark has a good job and enough income that he could afford a better wig. If they're going to do this story, they shouldn't borrow the hair Jack Duckworth used to get on the ladies bowling team, a comedy story.
