Commenter "Coronation Street Corner" was hoping we could come up with a picture of Deirdre in her bathrobe and head towel, in our weekly awards post here.
Does anyone with hair as short as hers do the towel thing anymore? Do mothers still teach their daughters how to do this?

Nah, no one does it with short hair do they? Mind you, it was a terrible bad/good look for Deirdre!
A normal looking woman for once..not botoxed to the hilt and a ton of make-up!
I try to do the towel thing every time I'm drying my hair but I have long hair so it doesn't work. My mum taught me how to do when I was a kid and I'm only 16.
I have a short hair and I do them all the time.

I have a medium bob and I always do the towel thing when I wash it, it stops the dripping, until its "towel dry" and you can comb it through. I bet they do it in Audrey's Salon!
Interesting folding technique there. I cut my own hair, so I guess I've missed out on all the newfangled salon perks! Nice photo - yay Deirdre!
