This month seemed to be full of Barlows. James turned out to be a bad seed, Tracy went after Steve once Becky was out of the way and thought she caught him. Peter and Leanne had a loss, seemingly of more than just a baby and the cracks are showing again. Leanne is also contending with having her mother back in her life.
In other news, Fiz is nicked due to circumstantial evidence and Gary Windass has broken apart at the seams. It's all there and more over on State of the Street for July.

We learned that Emily Bishop is a wrestling fan. Julie found her Prince Charming; who could resist the cupcake dress? Dennis is fitting quite nicely. Kylie and Gail, since when did 2 sours combine for something so delicious - of course the newlyweds should move out, but it would be so dull at Gails. I hope they catch James, just to bring Lawrence in for a dishy glimpse. Sally is actually a pretty good supervisor - will Hayley get her job back? Overall farfetchedness is on the decline. I iz a happy fan!
Despite the press-backlash this month, July has been the best Corrie month since the tram aftermath, and also the most consistant in terms of episode quality.
Once the Xin/Graham story, John Stape and the Becky/Max story stopped dominating, the street really seems to have found a new, fresh lease of life.
It seems to be going back to its roots and has found its heart again, to tell the stories of everyday relationships and the search for love and the troubles yopu face when you find it.
Especially loving:
Owen/Anna
Julie/Brian
Marcus/Sean
Stella/Leanne
Sylvia/Roy/Hayley
Izzy/Gary
Gail/Kylie
Tracey/Steve as well (for the first time!!)
More Norris/Rita/Emily/Mary and Dennis though please Corrie.
I agree Tiddles, it's been a good month. There's lots of stuff i didn't cover, i mainly just comment on the major things that i wanted to ramble about so there wasn't any mention of Sylvia and Roy or Marcus and Sean in particular. I think i had already written at length about Sylvia and Roy earlier int he month anyway.
Since Xin story has gone, it has been a little better, but I did enjoy watching Graham. Where's Emily lately or has she been axed too? We need a mixture of older and younger and NOT just younger! I wish Simon Cleobury would stop rushing around while filming it!
