For the past few months, I've been wondering about Adam Barlow. Last we saw of him, he headed darn saaf to help Peter run a chain of bookies. Now Peter's back and Adam is nowhere to be seen.
I didn't like Adam during his last stint as he stood between Danny and the money from Mike's will, and he was a bit of a brat. Now though, I think it'd be interesting to see him back on the street, there's plenty of new characters, and Peter could do with a good assistant in Barlow's Bookies, as his current staff consists of a accidental serial killer and a man who is systematically trying to destroy his whole life.

Noooooo Chewy, please don't put that idea in their heads, I couldn't stand the last Adam incarnation, between the helmet hair and the non existent personality I nodded off each time he came on the screen. He reminded me too much of the last Nick, only good for shirt removal purposes, but don' t let him open his mouth for God's sake!
I wouldn't worry about them having that idea put in their heads.According to DS they haven't listened to posters on any of the boards about Tracey Barlow!
Forgive me. But on a Coronation Street theme, I've just seen 'Carla Conner' appearing in 'Shanghai Knights' on bbc2 propositioning Owen Wilsons character.
I think there are quite enough Barlows in the show at the moment. Adam and his helmet head can stay away.
Adam? No. Not even with a different actor
Cocky little runt!
Can't see why he would return.
Sorry, Chewy, but nooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Why would you want you want Adam Barlow, who you didn't like before, back now? Nice try with the ideas though. :-)
If the character were played right - and not simply written as a little sod like last time - it would be really good to have another member of the Barlow clan on-screen. Peter could do with the support!
Agreed there are far too many characters already without bringing in even more, now we are to have Tina's chinese friend and the boring grandson of Ken is to return, obviously got a few weeks free from filming in the US, talk about nepotism!
Adam was always a dead-end character, and the actor was awful.
There are quite enough Barlows, thank you very much. But if he were to return he needs both a body transplant and a personality transplant as well!!!
I think if he was a more grown up version he could be good - but everyone's right, theres enough Barlows :p
