The paper says that Ben moves in with Michelle and Ryan while his folks are on holiday and he develops a crush on Michelle. When he goes in for a kiss, Michelle pulls away but then goes back in for a snog with the sixteen year old.

I thought it was all over between Sophie and Ben when she had a go at him at that party for flirting with Rosie and he was pretty nasty to her. When did it all go back on?
The first time something like happened was when Martin was with Katie. She was 16 and he was 30 something.
In the UK age of consent is 16 but here in Canada it is 18. They could both therefore be charged for various crimes in Canada.
I'm not saying which is right, but rather that the perception is interesting depending on where you live.
This is sinking even lower than Kevin and Molly crap!
@ anonymous - Actually, the age of consent in Canada is 16 also. It was previously 14 until 2008 when they changed it to 16.

Well, I thought the Ben character should be flushed out more -- Black father, white mother, Christian teen with all the normal pressures...going out with Sophie, the only sensible character from a nutty family. I suppose the writers thought this was one way to give Ben a storyline. Just when you thought you couldn't get lower than the Kevin-Molly affair...soap TV says: "it's bottomless"... Well, I'm not pre-judging, let's see if there's at least some chemistry and if there's a blow-up if/when Sophie finds out.
And I thought, too that Ben and Sophie were over after she gave him the boot for leering at older, more volumptuous sister Rosie...or was it Ben who gave her the boot earlier -- accusing her of only turning Christian just for attention.
Slapper! As her penchant for snogging whatever is available in front of her teenage son! Jackie Dobbs aside, she has to be the most embarrassing mother the stret's ever seen. Theresa has a certain primative dignity next to Me-Me-Michelle.
It should be real tragic slapper Sian and voluptuous Rosie getting together...
Oh fair play to her I say...however, I would really like to know where her necklace is from she's wearing lately, it's gorgeous!! Lease let me know!!
