It's about time these excellent characters where recognised.
I think Dev is a great character and Jimmi doesn't get the praise he should, but Kate Anthony's performance as Aunty Pam should be award winning. Why she wasn't put up for best newcomer, I and thousand others will never know or understand.
But here's a thought. Never mind Sunita coming back, why don't the writers put Pam and Dev together occasionally. Pam could run the shop and help her niece Molly at the same time, she certainly needs some maternal advice. Dev and Pam would surely be a comedy duo classic couple.
Dev as an unsung hero??? *cough*
What about Emily, Betty and Rita?
Eghhhh, I don't agree with Dev being an unsung hero. He has great chemistry with the other characters, sure! But in his own major storylines, he's always cheating on someone with someone else. Bleah!!
Neither do I agree regarding Jimmi or Dev. Dev is well past his sell by in my opinion and Jimmi's hammed up acting and elongated vowls can be very annoying. Pam is not any kind of hero either?
Eileen Derbyshire should get some kind of award for her great acting over the Ramsay business though.
