Another new character arrives in Coronation Street on Easter Sunday (April 12) when Reverend Rick Peach turns up.
The Sun says that the new vicar will be a trendy piece of work, touchy-feely with lots of modern ideas. Ooh, I can't see Blanche enjoying that very much but Sophie Webster decides to get baptised. A Corrie insider told the paper: “We’ve decided to go back to basics and to the days when the local vicar was very much a part of daily life. But viewers may find there’s a darker side to Rev Rick.” I hope Rev Rick gets a story on the the Red Rec.
Reverend Rick Peach will be played by theatre actor Nick Caldecott. It's not the first time he's acted in a dog collar...
