Coronation Street spoilers for Sally, Eileen and Jason

Soaps queen Sharon Marshall from ITV's This Morning was on the Coronation Street set today.  She was talking to Sally Dynevor (Sally Webster), Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw) and Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw).

Sue Cleaver talked about Eileen going after Michael because she wants everything that Gail has. There's a clip of an episode shown where Eileen and Michael have a bit of a heart to heart then, ooh, have a snog!

Ryan Thomas talked about Jason's future storyline where he'll get beaten up from Callum after he tries to protect Sarah and Bethany.

And Sally Dynevor talks about Sally's upcoming proposal from Tim.  But will their wedding go ahead now that Sally's going to have her head turned by Kevin again?

ITV's This Morning on the Coronation Street set

Sharon Marshall, soaps queen from ITV's This Morning was on the cobbles today. She interviewed Katherine Kelly (Becky McDonald) and her on-screen half-sister Kylie, played by Paula Lane. There's a preview of Kylie's first Corrie scene on Thursday this week when Becky and Kylie batter each other - there's clearly no love lost between those two sisters. Paula reveals that Kylie's got a four year old child, Max.

Sharon also interviews Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) and Sacha Parkinson (Sian Powers) in Websters' Autos and chats about their lovely lesbian relationship. Aww, it's dead nice. Sacha reveals that their secret relationship is discovered by Claire Peacock on Thursday this week. Will Claire keep quiet? Hmm... what do you think? It's soap, so of course she'll blab and she'll pick her moment too - right slap bang in the middle of the Cropper's wedding next weekend.  Sacha and Brooke have known each other since they were six years old and say they have a right laugh when they're filming together.

And also with Sharon are Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Stape) and Graham Hawley (John Stape) who blather on about baby-talk. Jennie shows off Fiz's baby bump, which she says may have been Molly and Maria's before hers!  They talked about the tram crash - and they couldn't show us down one end of the Street set as it was being set up for some of the 50th anniversary goings-on.

Sharon Marshall's Tabloid Girl reveals Corrie gossip

Sharon Marshall is the soaps queen on ITV's This Morning. And she's just released her book called Tabloid Girl in which she reveals all about her life as a tabloid journalist.

There's a couple of Coronation Street snippets in the book, which is great fun to read. First off Sharon's asked to explain to the late Maggie Jones what 'dogging' is, to which Maggie raised a solo eyebrow and drily declared: "In my day, we just went to the cinema".

And my mind's boggling over which Corrie hunk the tabloid did a kiss-and-tell on who then wrote to the paper to say thanks very much, he couldn't remember the lady in question, but it's done his love life no end of good to be referred to as a love stud in the national press.

It's a cracking book and well worth a read. Buy it here!
