Gary Barlow joins Coronation Street meerkat ads

Gary Barlow, that fella from Take That and the X Factor, will be joining the Coronation Street sponsors when he sings with the meerkats this Christmas.

Gary has apparently leant his vocals to a new advert for Compare The Market, in which he performs alongside a meerkat.

Gary is said to have already filmed the scenes as part of the company’s new marketing campaign. But it’s not just Barlow that can be seen in the ad – which is likely to appear before and after the credits of the soap – as a handful of Corrie stars are also thought to have taken part.

Let's hope Peter Barlow, Tracy Barlow, Deirdre Barlow and Amy Barlow are singing along with him too.
