BETSY’S BIG SMOKE PLANS GO UP IN FLAMES An ambulance pulls away from No.6 with its siren blaring. At the hospital Ryan explains to Carla how he returned home to find Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor. At Betsy’s bedside a nurse explains to a tearful Lisa that they are taking Betsy for an MRI Scan. Dylan arrives to see Betsy but comes running out of the room and tells Lisa and Carla that she seems to be having some kind of fit. Lisa and Carla watch in horror as the doctor tends to Betsy.
ROSS SHOWS HIS TRUE COLOURS Ross makes it clear that he wants to have a relationship with Tyrone but when Tyrone senses something is going on with Cassie and Steve he is shocked by what he finds out.
TRACY IGNORES CASSIE’S WARNING Cassie is horrified to find Ross has stayed the night at number 1 with Tracy. With Ross having gone, Cassie tries to warn Tracy that he’s not all that he seems and she needs to watch herself, but her words fall on deaf ears.
ELSEWHERE Gemma laments to Bernie that Joseph is falling behind with his homework because it’s impossible for him to concentrate at home. Chesney’s grateful when Bernie suggests he can study in peace at No.7.
Chesney calls at the pub and breaks the news to Gemma that Linda’s holiday rental business has gone bankrupt and she can no longer afford Joseph’s school fees.
