Todd's been locked in that bedroom for three days now. I don't know where he's going to the toilet, I can't see any bottles of yellow liquid on the new bedroom set. We hear Theo alternate between telling Todd how much he loves him and how much he hates him and we see Todd going to sleep on the floor even though he's in a bedroom. Through the door, Todd tells Theo that he now knows that Theo needs him more than Summer, but it's unclear whether he means this or it's a ploy for freedom. Theo releases him but whilst Theo is purportedly in the bathroom, Todd tries to leave but Theo has deadlocked the door and of course he's not really in the shower and the next thing we see is Todd turning up to Sarah's bloodied and battered. Oh, Toddicles.
I have changed my mind about 23rd April (again) and am now wondering if it'll be Summer who'll kill Theo in revenge for Billy. But maybe Theo will attack Carl in revenge for him telling Summer that he was the one who murdered the Arch Deacon. Carl is after Billy's life insurance in return for hunting down Theo.
Having seen Roy in Kate Oates Memorial, Swain gives up her annual leave day to semi-interrogate Kit re: the attack on Mal. Later, Roy, wearing a hoodie from 1988, moves in to number 6. I'm not sure where he and Nina are sleeping, unless Ryan's staying at Chariot Square.
Meanwhile at the Bistro, matriarch in waiting Eva brings the extended Driscoll-McDonald family together although they soon start arguing about who ate the left over lamb bhuna in the Rover's fridge. Will needs to leave off the fatty curries if he's going to beat his PB.
Also having a meeting are Debbie's pals in the pub. Debbie's still wearing her hand bandages (handages?) - I don't really understand why a) Ryan didn't take the plates off of her and b) why are they heating up plates to hand-burning levels in the hotel? Has anyone risk-assessed this? The meeting is interrupted by Carl who denies that he was trying to shake down Summer for cash.
