This month, actors from across the Leeds city region are invited to attend a workshop hosted by one of Coronation Street’s casting team, Joanne Moss to find out what the team are looking for when it comes to casting their next roles.
Held at the Yorkshire Academy of Film and Television Acting (YAFTA) on Kirstall Road, the 3-hour workshop will take place on Sunday 23rd June and will be packed with insider knowledge, experience and tips on what it takes to impress in an audition for one of Britain’s most loved soaps.
Charlotte Armitage, Managing Director at YAFTA said: “We are delighted to welcome Joanne to Leeds for this exciting event. There’s a real buzz across the Leeds region when it comes to film and TV and we have so much acting talent here. Having the opportunity for actors to meet and learn from someone as experienced as Joanne is a real treat.”
The workshop is open to the public and specifically aimed at those with some acting experience.
Places are limited and tickets can be booked on the YAFTA website.
