This is the dramatic moment when Coronation Street’s ‘single white female’ Jodie Ramsey proves she will stop at nothing to steal her sister’s life.
After months of mind games and manipulation we see a desperate Jodie pointing a gun at David and Shona when Shona confronts her about her obsession with her husband and family.
Convinced it is a replica the pair challenge her, but the situation spirals into chaos and a gunshot rings out. As the dust settles, one person lies stricken and the family is left reeling in horror. But who has been shot?
Jodie, played by Olivia Frances Brown, has stepped up her campaign to destroy sister Shona’s (Julia Goulding) life as she bids to win the affection of her brother in law David (Jack P Shepherd).
Viewers saw her switch her father Doug’s psychosis medication when she realised he was onto her, resulting in him being taken back to a secure mental health unit.
In Thursday night’s (October 8th) episode Jodie will go all out to try and seduce David and it seems she has finally turned his head when shocked Shona arrives.
Is it all over for Shona and David or has Jodie's luck finally run out?
