The previews are in for early January on Coronation Street and it’s Chesney and Sinead’s wedding day. But there’s one person who won’t be there for the wedding and that’s Chesney’s sister Fiz, who is away looking after their mum Cilla.
On their wedding day, Chesney tells Sinead he’ll see her at the altar after he goes to sprinkle Katie’s ashes. Back on the street, Carla implores Daniel to follow his heart and call a halt to the wedding.
As Sinead climbs into the car she clocks Daniel across the street. They share an intense look which is witnessed by Chesney. As the wedding guests gather at the register office will Daniel make his move and can Sinead ignore the doubts in her heart and say I do?

Why on Earth is Chesney sprinkling Katie's ashes, rather than one of her actual relatives?
Izzy has been forgotten. No scenes of her grieving, she barely had anything to do with the return of her nephew Joseph, and she wasn't told about Gary's death straight away. Izzy gets no respect ;)
Agree completely with both of the above comments. It should have been Izzy spreading the ashes - she was Katie's sister for God's sake. Why on earth would idiot Chesney be doing that on his wedding day? The writers are making Chesney more and more unlikeable. I simply cannot stand the character any more, and really hope that they don't get married.
Why would Carla be giving Daniel advice about "following his heart blah blah blah". She is a homewrecker of the highest order and has no place giving anyone that kind of advice.
Perhaps Izzy is with Chesney spreading Katie's ashes?
If any character is becoming unlikeable I would say it's Sinead who proposes to Chesney after he finds out Katie died in a car crash only to give Daniel longing looks every chance she gets even on her wedding day!
I also hope they don't get married with Chesney dumping Sinead at the altar! He deserves better.
