Susan Twist returns to Coronation Street
Susan Twist will be best known to Brookside fans as Rosie Banks, wife of Eddie. I loved her in Brookside, indeed I still mourn the passing of Brookside.
One of Rosie Banks' most memorable storylines, for me, was when she was rushed into hospital pregnant and her husband Eddie had to make the life-saving decision for his unconscious wife to undergo a hysterectomy, without her knowledge. It had me in bits.
Anyway, Susan Twist is joining Coronation Street - just for one episode. She'll play a friend of Nicola Rubinstein, Inside Soap magazine reveals today.
Susan Twist has appeared on Coronation Street before, back in July 2002 as Donna Stout, a short-term girlfriend of Derek Heavey.

Thanks for reminding me of Brookside. For years it was the best soap but not in its last few years Imo. I remember Rosie lost all her compo money at a roulette table. Didn't Tina Malone play her sister?
I thought they won the lottery but then Rosie blew it all on scratchcards etc.
Pretty sure Tina Malone did play her (rather unlikely) sister.
