There's an awful lot going on inside No. 1 Coronation Street right now. Last night on Corrie, Peter told his dad Ken: "You're dead to me!" and I can't have been the only Corrie fan to have sucked in air through my teeth at that point.
In next week's Coronation Street, we'll see Peter struggle to resist his deepest addiction - and no, it's not Carla this time, it's the drink, again.
Inside Soap magazine reveal that Peter remains absolutely furious with Ken for interfering with his lovelife and scaring Toyah off.
Peter is going to beg Chloe to put the record straight for him with Ken. But when he spots Toyah getting into a cab with her ex-husband Toby, he grabs a bottle of whisky and heads back to his flat. Will he resist his drink demons, I wonder?

I hope he doesn't fall off the wagon again - I thought they said they weren't going to go that route, that they were going to do something new?
I hope Peter resists, he didn't stop drinking for Toyah or Ken so why should their actions push him back to it? It's high time he remembered that he has a son to set an example for.
