Next week's previews for Corrie reveal that Audrey and David are stunned when the new work experience girl arrives at the salon and it’s none other than Gemma.
Kylie gets a shock when she arrives back at the salon to find Gemma there. Tearful Gemma pleads for a chance to turn her life around but David wants her out.
Gemma makes to leave but bumps into a pregnant Sarah - the cat’s out of the bag. Gemma deduces that Callum is the dad and threatens to tell him unless she keeps the job. When David calls her bluff, Gemma gets her mobile out. The call goes to voicemail but Gemma claims she only spoke to Callum the other day. Spotting an opportunity to have Gemma mouth off about Callum and therefore convince people he’s still alive, David persuades Audrey to keep Gemma on a trial basis.

I'm actually looking forward to her coming back. Dolly-Rose was quite a good actress and her character has depth. Maybe she'll stay on the street when Kylie leaves?
I'm not. I didn't like the character first time around, so I don't relish seeing her again.
l have been watching corrie since day 1,last night ,i never watched it ,i only just realised when i seen this post on facebook!thats the fist i have not thought about it ,i record it but am not going to watch it ever again it rubbish and now another gobby person !am done
I can only see Gemma's return as a plot device for Gemma to tell Marion about the pregnancy. Still think that Grandma will be the one to take care of baby Callum. Like the Faye storyline. As for Gemma staying on, maybe - if the producers think that she'll be a good replacement for Kylie.
Oh God I hope not, it will be hard seeing her even briefly, I don't think I could stand it if she was permanent!
I'm delighted Gemma's coming back!!!!
I didn't like her until her real life photo was posted here at the blog, with a bit about her as a person and actress. Can't recall the details, but she seems like a belter of a person and I'm looking forward to her return.
This ought to be interesting for sure! Hopefully it's the beginning of the end of the Callum storyline.
Glad to see Gemma back....have enjoyed her tough-as-nails character...hope she will become a full time member of the Corrie family.....
Definitely glad to see Gemma back. I think she will bring some much needed humour to the street. Also a character of depth. She could certainly replace Kylie, in that similar mould (Kylie replaced Becky in the same way).
In true Corrie tradition Gemma is a strong females and she could join the fold well.
Interestingly she has spoken to Callum.. is he actually under Gails garage conversion after all??..
Still some dead wood to be cleared from the street though...
