Simon is 11 and perfectly capable of being on his own for a couple of hours. Why does he need a babysitter? (Why does he need to be walked to school?) This is a smart kid who can take care of himself and doesn't need to be babied. In fact, he's more interesting when he relates as a small adult -- time to develop an interest in trains and hang out with Roy. Instead of babysitters, he should go to Emily's and update her computer next time Leanne has a booty call.

Simon and Maddie getting on confirms that he is the child of Satan.

Unfortunate that Lloyd's big story involves Andrea. She's become a completely unsympathetic character that I just want to see the back of.

I don't think maddie has rapport with anyone. As for palming Simon off with a new female buddy now Tina's dead .... he's like a chess piece the writers use to try stories out, not realising Simon's own story is now beyond ridiculous for a not so little boy!

Poor old Dierdre - she looks really pained. I like Dierdre and its a pity we never saw more of her in Ken's 'absence'. Oh dear more violin playing Poor Old Me where Lloyd is concerned, cue for him to disappear off for a few months, just hope Andrea goes as well - she has really turned around from a good character with promise to just an unfaithful irritant who seems to grin at everything.

Another Corrie resident wearing one of these yellow jackets in prison. Every character must have one in their wardrobe.

Why are Sawfie and Maddeh looking after Simon again? Leanne keeps going on about stability for the lad, but never seems to spend time with him, is either getting into a confrontation with Nick or seeing Kal.

I agree. Simon is babied far too much for a boy that age. Perhaps still needs supervision but is certainly capable of walking himself to school. Bessie Street school is only a couple of blocks away

I guess Simon's in for it then hmm? Simon this and Simon that like he was made of glass. Leanne, now that she has a new friend to play rumpy pumpy with, she's pawning Simon off all over the place. He should move in with Deidre and Ken - there'll be room once Rob is send back to prison after finally breaking down and confessing to the murder of the over-rated permanently orange Tina.

Speaking of Tina,I guess Dennis has continued where she left off, using and manipulating people as he's now using Julie to manipulate Rita to feel 'sorry' for him.I don't think Dennis evne loves Rita,it's all about showing up Norris.

I don't get the anti-Andrea brigade. I like the character and the fact that the story's been allowed to develop gradually.
