I'd ask him why he hasn't managed to do it.
I'd ask him why is he keeping Stella as one of the main role's as landlady of the Rovers Return when she's just plain awful. (How refreshing have the last few episodes been without the dreaded trio!). Why keep pretending she's popular when she's not and either downsize her role or even better, get rid totally.

Seeing all the questioning about Emily and her house makes me feel even more inclined to ask Mr. Blackburn what I hope I uploaded to the Digital Spy site, which was: what's he doing to keep historical continuity happening (hopefully better than some previous producers and writers have done)? As I said in my uploaded question at the other site, there are viewers who've been watching since the 1st show who tend to get very upset if the historical facts get altered or ignored.
There used to be an archivist who kept track of facts. Is there still such a person and do the current writers and producers consult him (or her)?
I'd ask him to stop the mind-numbingly boring stories eg: anything to do with the Prices; the surrogacy; Katie/Chesney. If he wants to create an upbeat story, can one of the young residents go to college, get an apprenticeship, start a business? Please no more baby plots and 'who's the daddy?' stories. Could he try to make the Street just a fraction more realistic and not have low income people eating out all the time? OK, that's it for now!
I would ask him why Tracey Barlow is still on the program? What is the point of Ryan and Katie?
Anon - The show does have an archivist - and she is consulted. We'll have to see how the Emily story pans out but there are so many examples where the archivist has been 'over ruled'.
