Coronation Street, Monday 1st July at 7.30pm
DAVID FUELS NICK’S SUSPICIONS OF LEANNE. It’s Leanne’s birthday and the present Nick ordered her hasn’t turned up. So when a big bunch of flowers arrives Leanne presumes they’re from Nick. Leanne’s touched but Nick’s adamant he didn’t send them, so who did? As David jokes that Leanne has a mystery admirer Nick’s uncomfortable. Having found Peter’s lighter in the flat and a birthday card his imagination starts running riot. When Nick then threatens Peter, it looks like David’s plan is working.
ROY’S SLEEPWALKING TAKES A WORRYING TURN. Roy’s retreated into his shell and won’t discuss his sleepwalking. Will he open up to anyone?
FAYE FEELS ABANDONED BY TIM. When Jason arrives back on the street Faye’s gutted to see her dad isn’t with him. As Jason claims he’s had to stay on to work in Newcastle he passes on a message that Faye should stay with Anna for a few more days not realising what a blow this is to Faye.
ELSEWHERE Tommy worries that despite the brave face Tina’s putting on she’s struggling to cope with life without Jake. Emily and Norris are at loggerheads with Emily convinced Norris has only been looking after her so he can get his hands on her will.
8.30pm
LEANNE RAILS AT NICK AS DAVID CONFESSES TO TINA. Leanne’s hurt to discover Nick still doesn’t trust her around Peter. Nick tries to defend himself but a row erupts. As Kylie consoles Nick, David’s victory feels hollow, the pain he’s caused isn’t going to undo what happened. Hurt and angry David turns to Tina. As David opens up Tina’s shocked to hear how Kylie had a one night stand and the baby might not be his. But she’s even more shocked by what David plans to do about it.
HAYLEY’S DRIVEN TO DISTRACTION BY ROY. Roy opens up to Hayley about his troubles, admitting he feels terrible knowing his father tried to get in touch with him but died before getting a reply. Hayley’s frustrated though that Roy still won’t visit a doctor and resolves to take action herself.
FAYE LONGS TO BE BACK WITH ANNA. When Faye sees Anna welcoming Gary and Izzy round she wishes she was still part of the family. Lonely and hungry will Faye confide in Anna about Tim’s absence?
ELSEWHERE Gary and Izzy give Tina news of Jake’s progress, revealing he’ll be coming home soon. Tina thanks them but it’s clear she’s shaken. Norris apologises to Emily for his recent behaviour.
