Sunita lends him the money but as he heads to the bank will he be able to resist the temptation to gamble? Meanwhile Stella's stunned when bailiffs arrive at the pub wanting to recover items to cover Karl's debts. Stella's horrified as Nick is forced to pay them off. Thoroughly emasculated he leaves but with nowhere to go it’s Sunita who finds him outside and takes him back to hers. Admitting he's gambled away her money too Karl's crushed but Sunita's there to listen. As she vows to help him break his gambling habit, Sunita insists he stay the night on the sofa. With both their relationships in a mess will these two wounded souls seek comfort in each other?

Elsewhere Jason thaws towards Paul and Eileen as they start a new chapter in their life.
