Well, are we all excited? Are we all a quivver with anticipation at the impending return of the slice of joy that is Michelle Connor? Admittedly, I haven't missed her parade of glossy hair and misery but I am interested to see if the writing team have been kinder to her this time around.
To begin with, Michelle seemed to be a welcome addition to t'cobbles. She stood up to the shrieking harridan that was Liz McDonald. It wasn't long though before she was trudging through a series of dreary storylines - bisexual lover, various sons with bad hairstyles, Steve as a lover, playing the tart with Peter Barlow and then Luke Strong followed by a stint as the world's most improbable trainee manager at the factory.
Michelle's autumnal return looks set to end in misery but will the viewers feel any sympathy for her? Or will she forever wander the Street as a feckless bint, deprived of the love of a good man and a decent hairdo? Will Carla make the same mistake twice and employ her again? What next for the raven-haired temptress and more to the point, does anyone care?
Michelle Connor - are we welcoming her back with open arms or should we stand her under the viaduct and hope that a tram pays her a 'visit'?

Personally I'm moist with anticipation. Michelle Connor is an icon, a legend, and the most attractive humanoid in Western civilisation; I can't wait for her arrival, and for Kym Marsh to show all these amateurs what REAL acting is all about.
*snort* Merseytart, surely you jest ;)
We should organise a street (or maybe Street) party to celebrate her return. I'll bring the sausage rolls . . .
That's it, I'm throwing meself off the viaduct. She'll be back and twittering her self-righteous non-sense whilst peddling her personal tragedy at the nearest book fair.
I'm glad she's coming back. :)
I'm keen for her return! :D
You must be joking, posteruing, hands on hips stance, that grating voice, Vanity thy name is Me Me Me Michelle - pointless tramp.
Im quite looking forward to it. At least she can act, unlike Kate ford and some others on the street
Actually, I don't think she can act unless you count sighing and looking skywards as acting. We have a number of young, attractive actresses in Corrie at the moment, who are pretty hopeless (Helen Flanagan excepted). I haven't missed Michelle at all but she'll bring Ciaron with her so it's not all bad news.
Haven't missed her at all.
Some people in real life sighs and roll their eyes. We don't want to see clones on the street. I think Michelle is a different person like Eileen is different to Tina. I like her, you don't. That's fine, but don't insult us okay?
I fail to understand how people's comments for and against Michelle Conner and/or Kym Marsh can be taken as a personal insult by anyone reading these comments who is not Kym Marsh but just another fan. Persecution complex?
