Alison King, who plays Carla Connor on Coronation Street, was interviewed on ITV's This Morning this week. Viewers in the UK can watch the video here. For those outside the UK who can't view the video, here's a little synopsis of what Alison said about her role as the dark lady of Underworld.
Alison talks about her home life including her new baby, Daisy Mae and husband Adam who's a Corrie cameraman although she says they hardly speak to each other at work as they never get time. About Carla Connor, Alison reveals that Carla really fancies Trevor the binman as he's uncomplicated but that she might try to spruce Trevor up. And now that Nick's on the scene, Carla's got a new sparring partner too. All in all, it was a nice enough interview even if Eamonn Holmes did lose the plot and call the actress by her character name.
