This week they're asking fans to vote for the greatest gossip, ever.From Coronation Street there's Vera Duckworth, Hilda Ogden, Blanche Hunt and my personal favourite gossip, Norris Cole. I do believe that Corrie does comedy best as this poll is the first one that Corrie characters are the majority. Mind you, Mrs Mangel from Neighbours is also a favourite of mine.

There's only one true Corrie, or indeed, soap gossip. Arise, Dame Hilda. The much missed and never bettered Jean Alexander knocks all of her contemporaries in to a cocked hat.
