There's not much that's more important on telly in Canada than Coronation Street and so when the Corrie schedule's changed there, Corrie fans are not best pleased. Well, it's being changed again during the NHL playoffs.
Weeknight episodes of Coronation Street on CBC will move to 3:30 p.m. local time for the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs, beginning Wednesday, April 15, except for in Atlantic Canada where it will be seen at its usual time, 7 p.m. AT, and 7:30 p.m. NT. Once the playoffs have concluded in mid-June, Corrie will return to its regular weeknight timeslot. Fans can also catch the week’s episodes during the playoffs on Sunday mornings, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., beginning Sunday, April 19.

On another topic, I'd like to say that in the inside soap poll for best villain, I was disappointed not to see Alan Bradley make the poll because he gripped the nation, similar to Hillman. I thought at first that it was because he was in it years ago but both Dirty Den and Nick Cotton have made the poll and Elsie Tanner did in the drama queen poll, and they were in the 1980s. So, I'd like to ask why wasn't Alan not in it?
Hi Llifon, good comment and I've blogged about it too.
