Coronation Street win twice, Royal Television Society Awards North West

Last night in Manchester, the Royal Television Society North West Awards took place and Coronation Street won not one, but two, awards!

Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in Coronation Street, won the award for Best Performance in a Serial Drama for her performance.

And ITV Coronation Street won an award for best storyline for Michelle’s late miscarriage. 

Very well deserved. This was one of the most emotional storylines and performances I've seen in Corrie in years.

Corrie shortlisted: Royal Television Society North West Awards

The Royal Television Society North West Awards takes place on Saturday 11th November 2017. 

And in the category for Best Continuing Drama Storyline there are two Coronation Street storylines on the shortlist.

The Corrie storylines shortlisted are Michelle's Late Miscarriage (for which I truly believe Kym Marsh deserves every award going). 

Also on the shortlist is The Grooming of Bethany storyline.

The winner will be announced on the night. Good luck to Coronation Street on these two wonderful storylines.
