Barbara Knox has a rose dedicated to her in honour of 90th birthday

Barbara Knox, who plays Rita in Coronation Street, has had a rose dedicated to her. It was unveiled t the the RHS Tatton Flower Show. The rose is called Gracious Lady and Barbara said: "I’m honoured. Sometimes you get presents, and they are lovely, but this one will live with me for a very long time."

Northwick Guardian have pictures of the rose, with Barbara Knox and Thelma Barlow (Mavis) who reunited at the flower show. You can see all the pics here.
