Happy Yorkshire Day
As everyone knows, 1st August is Yorkshire Day, which includes current Corrie cast, despite being set on t'other side of the Pennines.
So Happy Yorkshire Day to Beverley Callard (Liz McDonald, from Leeds), Jack P Shepherd (David Platt, also Leeds), Mikey North (Gary Windass, Scarborough),
Sally Carman (Abi Franklin, Doncaster), Helen Worth (Gail Rodwell, Wakefield), Sair Khan (Alya Nazir, also Leeds), Richard Hawley (Johnny Connor, Bradford),
and of course the wonderful Maureen Lipman, currently playing battleaxe Evelyn Plummer, is from the East Riding (Hull).
