The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and news is out about Carla’s fling with Daniel. Peter can’t hide his anger and berates Carla for sleeping with someone so young. Whilst she puts him back in his place she confesses to Michelle that it was just a fling and meant nothing to her.
But Roy then tells Carla’s family the truth about her needing a kidney transplant. Aidan and Kate both discover they are a match for Carla and Aidan insists he will be her donor.
With Carla needing the operation as soon as possible Aidan starts the tests to prepare him for the kidney donation. Jenny and Johnny are thrilled but Aidan disguises his nerves.
