RTS Event: LGBTQ Representation in Soaps
There's a special event organised by the Royal Television Society called LGBTQ Representation in Soaps.
In celebration of the end of Pride 2017, June Sarpong hosts a panel to discuss LGBTQ representation in continuing drama.
Execs, cast members and script writers from the main soaps including Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks will be on the panel to analyse storylines, issues raised and tackled and if their fiction has been a help or a hindrance in reality.
In partnership with, ITV and Pride in the City.
