Join us for a curated session of extracts and rarities, including Clapperboard, the Owl Service, Hickory House, Picture Box, Ghosts of Motley Hall and Children’s Ward. You’ll be in the company of a host of special guests including Clapperboard’s Chris Kelly, Children’s Ward writer Russell T Davies, producer Kieran Roberts and director Beryl Richards and actors Andrew Knott and Jane Danson, now better known for the History Boys and as Coronation Street’s Leanne Battersby.
WORLD IN ACTION
Sunday, December 11th 18:15
Join legendary camera operator George Jesse Turner for a celebration of Granada’s World in Action and a discussion around what made this show an essential part of our national conversation for 35 years. Featured complete editions specially selected by George and never since repeated or made commercially available include ‘Last week in Biafra’ (1969) and ‘Colonel Rauff’s Refuge’ (1983). With thanks to the BFI National Film Archive.
CORONATION STREET 2016
