If it's true, it's what I had speculated, that Vinny would take the money and run and that leaves Phelan the "victim" so he can remain in the show a bit longer.
Vinny will take off with the cash and his fake passport. Phelan and Todd will have to make out they were totally in the dark and Eileen, of course, will believe them. I'm sure the scam will fail even if Vinny gets clean away. Eileen, Todd or Phelan will inform the police who will freeze the bank account. Or perhaps Eileen guessed what was happening and had already got the police involved. Some time later, Eileen discovers Phelan's fake passport ...
I was wondering if and when he would get a cast card. That's the thing, the papers and mags don't say if a role is contract or not. So unless it's a major role that they want to cast, you never know. If he is gone, it's a shame that he never got to do a scene with Claire King.

Vinny has been a bit of a let-down really. Haven't seen enough of him to get a feeling of villainy from him. And Phelan might as well have a handlebar moustache to twirl, he's such a pantomime villain.
It can't come too soon.This character hasn't been well developed. He's like a dark cloud that is just there.
