First-look pics: Luke and Tracy get passionate in Coronation Street

Here are some preview pictures from the episode of Coronation Street to be shown on Thursday 10 November 2016.

Luke tries to buy Tracy a drink by way of an apology but when Robert warns him that she’s a head case, Tracy storms out.

Keen to patch things up with Tracy, will Luke ramp up the passion?

Did not see that coming!

She's almost old enough to be his mother!

This is another Michelle/Robert scenario. I don't ever recall Luke and Tracy speaking and now, in just over a weeks time, they're getting romantically involved. Have I missed something?

True enough but she can't be more than a few years older than Maria and if this affair prevents him from having to bail Maria out of the mess she got herself in with Caz, I'm all for it. Tracy will do something terrible to push him away sooner rather than later so it won't do him much harm.

This is stretching our credulity waaaaay too far!

Oh, great. One of Corrie's nicest, kindest-ever male characters gets together with probably the nastiest, empathy-deficient, horrible woman to ever walk the cobbles! This takes the biscuit!

Steph is 21 so Luke must be early 20's. Tracy is 40 this year. Not only is this match unbelievable, it's seriously yuk.

Lovely Luke and Toxic Tracy? NO. NO. NO.

Nooooo this is bad.

Patrick, my thoughts exactly. Not the lovely Luke with that nasty piece of work, surely he is not that hard up!

I'm beginning to wonder if they put everyone's names in a hat, then 2 people draw them out, like the FA Cup draw, and whoever's names get pulled, that's the next romance. That can be the only reason as to how they came up with the pairing of Luke and Tracy

turned me right off my cornflakes this morning. Please, please tell me they won't sink that low to put these 2 couldn't be more opposite people together. Luke is way too good looking for Tracy among other things. Yuck big time.

very first comment expressed my thoughts perfectly! But I don't have problems with Michelle and Robert--they already seem to be working well together and there's been more physical chemistry between them in their first few scenes than I've ever seen between her and Steve. As to people saying they've never much spoken to each other so it seems random--well, what do they expect? All lovers start off as strangers at first! Robert came to the street in thrall to Tracy; now he's free and available so he's going to be noticing the women around him.

That's a brilliant theory :)

I dislike Robert intensely. Horrible smarmy git.

Can you get a shot to prevent nausea whenever Luke and Tracey get together? Seriously. I'm with the poster who suggested plot development by "names in a hat". That has to be it.

This pairing smacks of desperation from the writers as they don't know what to do with these characters.
Remembering how she threw her weight around with the staff after Robert bought the Bistro[thanks to Tracy's blackmailing Carla]from Nick,I doubt Steph will pleased with her brother's latest girlfriend.

I think it's safe to say that the viewing public any impressed with this pairing. Here's hoping TPTB take note of our views and end this before it begins

Oops. Meant arn't, not any. Darn you, predictive text

I think it's even more extreme than pulling names from a hat. My theory is writers try to think up the most implausible story line on purpose and then stretch "reality" to make it work. Like, "Hey, Leanne 'can't' have a baby. Let's make her pregnant!" And then, "Who's least likely to be the father? Steve!" And then, "Hey, what's even more implausible than Steve fathering Leanne's baby? Fathering TWO babies - at the SAME TIME!" So now it's super nice guy Luke. Who's the most terrible woman we could pair him up with? There's no other choice - it must be Tracy! I expect Rita will murder one of the kids any day now...

well in a small way I guess pairing him with the most terrible woman as in Tracy I guess is better than with Caz. Now that would be the worst ever. Poor guy. He really does get the short end of the stick all the time. He deserves so much better than that.

While pairing Luke and Tracy is another tram crash in the making, it's still better than her preying on Ryan Connor just to tick off Michelle.

Tracy?! Really?! Having already being romantically involved with Carla and Maria? Then there's the age difference! Yuck!
